Vale won the toss and on a windy afternoon asked their hosts to take first knock on a very green wicket.

Their decision was proved right as Robertsbridge struggled from the off. Good tight bowling all the way through the innings saw them skittled for 100 despite the efforts of ex Vale pair Nick Butcher (25) and John Newman (29). The Vale bowlers all bowled well with Matt Bowles 2-34, Liam Stamp 1-6, J Godden 2-28, Guy Wenham 2-14 and Carl Brook 3-1 doing the damage.

In reply Vale with a re-organized batting order, struggled and at tea were 31-4. After tea Steve Border 24, Carl Brook 29 not out and Chris Brook 27 not out knocked off the runs to take Vale to another victory inside 20 overs. Wickets came from Green 2-20 and Atkin 2-23.
